Is there a nighty minimum?

2 nights Sunday – Wednesday, 3 nights Thursday – Saturday

When is check-in and check out?

Check in is at 3:00pm and check-out is at 10:00am. Early check-in will be accommodated whenever possible for an additional fee.

What activities are offered on-site?

While at The Hideaway, enjoy hiking trails around the lake and property, a porch-swing fire pit (with wood provided), fishing in the fully-stocked lake (guests must bring their own fishing gear), and gated swimming pool. We offer a small library of books and records inside the home, as well as a selection of board games. Additional activities (fitness classes, spa services, private concerts, etc) can be arranged for an additional fee.

Is there Wi-fi?

Absolutely! We have lightning-fast fiber internet, so you can work remotely and stream to your heart’s content.

Is the pool heated/open year round?

Currently the pool is unheated and closed in the winter/early spring. However, we have plans to heat the pool so it can be enjoyed year-round soon!

When is the best time of year to visit The Hideaway?

The property offers beauty and charm during all four seasons – spring boasts blooming wildflowers, summer is breathtakingly lush, the fall colors in the hills are stunning, and winter frost (and the occasional snow) are incredibly peaceful.

Are children allowed?

Absolutely! We have many amenities available for infants and young children, such as a crib, bassinet, pack-n-play, high chair, changing table, toys and books, baby bath, MamaRoo swing, and more.

Are pets allowed?

Certainly! We welcome well-behaved, house-trained adult dogs at The Hideaway. We offer a dog bed, treats, waste bags, and small and large dog bowls for your pup’s comfort. While not mandatory, we recommend keeping dogs on a leash when outside to keep them from chasing wildlife, and we kindly ask that guests ensure their pups are clean upon re-entering the house after exploring the grounds. Dogs may not be left unattended at The Hideaway.

How many guests can The Hideaway sleep?

There are two king bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and one bunk room with five twins, sleeping 13 in dedicated beds. We have an additional queen mattress upon request to sleep two more, and three small adults or children can sleep on couches in the game room and living room. Additionally, we do have a crib, bassinet and pack and play. Max sleeping capacity for the home is 20.

Is the Hideaway Wheelchair Accessible?

Unfortunately, the home is not currently ADA accessible.

What is your policy for rescheduling or cancelling reservations?

Please note these policies are for stay-only reservations and not for special event/wedding reservations. Deposits for special events and weddings are non-refundable.

100% refunds are given for any cancellations made until 30 days before check-in.
50% refund for cancellations made within 30 days but before 14 days of check-in.
No refunds for cancellations made within 14 days of check-in.
We are happy to reschedule your stay up to 45 days prior to check-in but a 10% rescheduling fee will apply. Please note, we are unable to reschedule your stay if given less than 14 days’ notice before your scheduled check-in.

Is there an additional fee for Weddings/Special Events?

Yes, there is an additional fee for weddings and special events – please contact us with more information about your event for rates and availability.
